The Department of Mathematics at Lehigh University invites applications for two postdoctoral positions in Professor Yue Yu’s research group. Research topics of interest include numerical methods for scientific machine learning and Artificial Intelligence and their applications to various science and engineering disciplines. These positions are intended for new or recent Ph.D. in applied/computational mathematics or computational science.
Ideal candidates will have substantial experience in numerical analysis and scientific computing. Experience in scientific machine learning, computational mechanics, and/or nonlocal models is preferred but not required.
The teaching load will be one or two courses per year.
Duration: One year with the possibility of renewal.
Starting in fall 2025.
