Presently working as Professor/Head in Dept. of ECE at St.Peter’s University, Chennai. India.
He received his doctorate degree in electronics in 2012. He obtained a Bachelor of Technology and a Master in Applied Electronics in the years 1996 and 1998, respectively. He has 20 years of experience in the field academic sector as an eminent faculty member, which includes 4 years overseas. Currently working as Professor and Head in the Department of Electronic and Communication Engineering, St.Peter’s University. Areas of interest include Antenna Design, VLSI technology, and Hybrid Energy Systems. Organized and chaired many National and International Conferences. He is also a Reviewer for Journals and Conference papers. He is also a Doctoral Committee member for Researchers in various universities. His work has been published in 58 technical papers, which include National and International Journals, and he also served as an editor of Indian Journal Of Emerging Electronics in Computer Communications-IJEECC. Applied for two international patents titled “Double rotor flux assisted permanent magnet machine” and “Novel Emergency notification system for elderly protection using MEMS sensor” in the year 2014
and 2016, respectively. As the Head of the Department of ECE, He initiated Ph.D. programs at St. Peter’s University. He also initiated SPIHER – MSME Business Incubator sponsored by the Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises. So far, 4 persons have been awarded PhD under his guidance, and 8 persons are awaiting for the viva voce exam.
