Dr. B.Prasanalakshmi, presently working as Associate Professor/Head in Dept. of CSE at Royal College of Engineering and Technology, Thrissur, India
She completed Bachelor degree from Bharathidasan University. She completed three Master’s degree from Bharathidasan University and other one is from Anna University. She worked as Lecturer in SKC Arts & Science College, Oxford Engineering College, SCSVMV University and King Saud University. She joined as Assistant Professor in Thirumalai Engineering College in the year 2010. She was subsequently elevated as Associate Professor in the year 2012. She obtained her Ph.D from Bharathiar University in 2014 with Indian patent. She was promoted as head of the Department in the year 2013. As an associate professor she teaches UG and PG students and supervises final year student’s projects. She has a teaching experience of 8 years in engineering colleges and two years in science colleges. She has published 19 research papers in International conferences/ Journals with high impact factor. She has conducted many workshops/short term courses/conferences and trained many faculty members. She is serving as a reviewer of JNCA, EIJ (Elsevier) and chief editor of IJCSEC and SCRA Young Scientist Award Winner of 2016. Her area of interest includes Biometrics Security, Image processing, Algorithm design.
